Doodlebug Update

Am very pleased to give you all this update on our little raffle for baby Doodlebug ( aka Ally ).

Ally is really doing great at home...and who wouldn't with the family she is blessed with. From last reports ( and I have to log into Facebook ), she is meeting her milestones and will be starting some early intervention therapy very soon.

We have some wonderful new prizes added to the Raffle...donated by some very generous Newfie people....need I say that these people are the BEST ??

From Suzi & Robert Bidwell....a 2010 Newf Gone BAD calendar and a deck of the Newf Playing cards that are being sold by Heart of America Newfoundland Club.

and....from Newf-L member....artist Christine Nelson has told me that she is donating a Custom made piece of Newfie Art to the Grand Prize winner....sure wish I had a sample picture to post here but since Christine is in the process of moving...most of her sample photos are still packed away....but I can guarantee that this will be a One of Kind piece to be treasured FOREVER.

There were some other e-mails from people wanting to donate a prize to the collection and they will be gratefully acknowledged upon receipt.

As a surprise to Amy & Kenny...I'll keep the total a secret till the end but know that the entries are rolling in and there are still 24 days to go.

We are seeing some gentle Spring weather here in Missouri and it's always a welcome renewal of Life. Soon the lilacs will be ready to bloom and we will once again see our favorite hummingbirds.

I like to think that little Ally plays a BIG part in that Renewal...whether she knows it yet or not...she is such a beautiful and a special baby and her Mommy loves to dress her up in sweet little headbands and all kinds of frilly things and treat us with photos.
